Well glad to see these anime drawing to wish for the new years. Kudo to them.
That would be weird but at the same time hilarious (and maybe some people would find it offensive). |

Several years ago (2008), I happened to visit during the summer after another plaque hanging event in Heian Jingu and I happened to see several anime-character plaques. I took pictures of them on my camera and when I was home (in America, several months later), did some more research on them. I decided to read a few and I found out that the one with the xxxHolic characters on it was hung up by CLAMP themselves! It had their signatures on it and everything! I had lost most of my digital photos in a freak accidental deletion incident, so it's one of the few photos I have left from the trip. CLAMP are still my favorite mangaka, so the photo is quite the treasure.
Going back in late 2012, I found lots of Milky Holmes and Nanoha ones there, too. I'll be in Narita and Okayama in a few days, so maybe I'll visit another shrine and check them out. =3 |
