This seems right up my alley. I wonder how they plan to release it?

I hope ADV announces some bigger titles at Expo. So far, not much has been interesting me.

Man, they're buyin' new stuff I ain't even heard of, before! Oh, and Clover, don't judge a show by its sterile summary. I wasn't sure I'd get into Nerima Daikon Bros., either, and it ended up being a new favorite. I like ADV's philosophy of getting shows they like, too. I wish more companies were willing to take that risk nowadays, especially now that CPM's out of commission...

My sentiments exactly. I really enjoyed the first episode and I've been impatiently awaiting more that just never came.

I don't see ADV putting any less then two episodes per disc since the whole thing is out, but it would be nice to see three per disc.

I was wondering if I would like this show, but something on the encyclopedia page made my interest go down ...

... is there really a character named "Lotta Brest"? Come on Neutral

Seriously ADV has been announcing a lot of titles prior to the start of the con season. Really makes me wonder what they have up their sleeves, perhaps Monster.....I can't wait to check out this show, seems interesting.

I saw the first episode of this show via fansub, and it was freakin' awesome. I'd go so far as to say it is one of the best anime in the past three years. That's judging only by episode 1! I have been waiting a long time to see the rest of this series, and I am very excited to see it finally officially licensed. I am pretty much going to buy it as soon as it comes out at full price.

However, this show consists of 6 45 minute episodes. They should sell the entire show in one double-DVD pack. The very minimum I will accept are two separate DVDs with 3 episodes each. Anything less, and I will not pay.

Best character name in anime ever, but it gets no mileage in the anime because Lotta Brest is the preadolescent daughter of Prof. Brest, not the adult, buxom female bodyguard.

(Have watched all 6 episodes.)

Before AX maybe, but I'd say "con season" starts in mid May with Anime Central, which I'd say is the first major "summer" con. I wonder if they've even got anything left for AX. Eh, they can license stuff I've never heard of as much as they want -- no obligation to buy for me. I just hope they're not gearing for a repeat of their 2003-2004 "license everything under the sun" spree that came back to haunt them. And chances are Project Blue Earth won't be fansubbed past the first episode (it doesn't seem like the kind of series subbers would want to brave the legal heat for), so they won't have that excuse if this doesn't perform.

After reading Ledford's last interview on ANN, I don't think that will be the case. Lest I seriously doubt it.

You have a point. I didn't think Nanaka 6/17 was going to be any good, but I really enjoyed that.

As long as they don't go nuts with all the random Manga/anime tie in they should be ok. Seriously trying to grab the manga and anime of every show and release them at the same time was pretty crazy.
