Ooh interesting and this would be quite different from A Silent Voice indeed. I wonder what kind of story it will follow though.

Sci-fi / fantasy doesn't necessarily mean action. Our good author here is good with emotional stuff, so I believe he'll stick with that, but in a sci-fi /fantasy setting, which could be pretty damn interesting given a chance.

Whether it has Action or no I say go for it, I'm all for authors trying different things and since a silent voice was so good I can go in with good expectations.

I loved Oima's Mardock Scramble manga, this author is capable to do anything masterfully methinks. looking forward to that.

Hm...it'd be interesting to see what kind of story she could pull off from that; I'm intrigued! (Though personally, I think I'd need a reprieve from writing something as emotionally investing as A Silent Voice. ^^; )

Yeah, didn't she get her start drawing the Mardock Scramble manga? She's shown she can write compelling characters; I'm on board. It's nice to see folks try different things. If she wants to take some time off, given the schedules mangaka often work, I'm not complaining.
