After the Samurai Champloo game I am with ya on this seeing as I don't think it will be all that great. I wonder if this game will also be ported to the PS3 seeing as the gamespot article makes it look like it's a 360 only right now.

Dear God... why?

During the trailer, we were told that Afro Samurai is the most powerful, soulful story ever told in manga

Well, I guess I've been wrong all this time. Here I thought that disctinction might go to... wait a minute~! Afro Samurai ISN'T A MANGA!!!!

Namco Bandai's spokesperson at the event claimed that while many games "use and abuse" the M-rating "like mayo," the uncut, uncensored, unadulterated Afro Samurai will carry an M-rating that everyone can be proud of.

From Namco Bandai? Unlikely. The Japanese game might carry an M rating that people can be proud of, but this is the same team who edited every drop of blood from Xenosaga III, making at least one scene completely incomprehensible!

This game, from its very conception, looks like utter crap.

Whether it is the most powerful or soulful is debatable, but it was originally a manga.
