Hooray for Gakuen Alice... but that really is a long time for it to show up... I am already reading like vol 9 or something like that...

Gakuen Alice? YES! I loved the anime, so I wanted to read the manga. (I hoped Viz would pick it up, though.) I'm definitely going to buy this.

I still need to get around to watching the anime, but what Gakuen Alice sounds like a nice manga (and anime). I'll probably be getting it.

I know squat about the other title, so I have no opinion on it.
