I sense Aniplex' involvement.... not that it's a bad thing, though. *start saving money*
Dammit I want God Eater 2.

Hirao is the only person at the ufotable studio that can actually make this adaptation work.

That's a solid team, I enjoyed KnK, and with Kyousogiga composer on the team, I hope it won't suck.
Videogame adaptations tend to bomb hard. Well, except Gungrave.

"The Garden of Sinners" and "God Eater" reminds me of the Garden of Eden.

Interesting staff I'm seeing here. Man it'd be amazing if Sony got PSN purchases available for Latin American gamers so I can download GE Burst

WOO! Go Shiina! I was a liiiitle worried if they were going to use his music or not, but now, I am relieved. Frikin' love his stuff.
Though I do wonder if they'll just use the game soundtrack or if their will be some new tunes here and there. Well, it's all awesome, so it's fine either way.

God Eater games are Bandai Namco but for some reason I'm also getting an Aniplex vibe from this....
Anyways I've never played the games but from what I gather they're like Monster Hunter, only more sci-fi and with a story? Am I close?

Yeah, hopefully that PS4 version in addition to the Vita version will raise the chances of the new version of God Eater 2 coming over.
Looks like a good team, and agreed on it's great they got Go Shiina, looking forward to more music from him.

I'm hoping this will be a 2 cour or at least split so it can capture all the important moments. Nice to know about the director info ofc today.

Looking forward to this. I just started getting into series just a little while ago it's good timing. And having Ufotable and Go Shiina aboard is good news.

Think of it as a much faster version of Monster Hunter. Probably the only similarities between the two is that you're fighting large creatures. God Eater controls much more like a action game and there's more of a story. I'm not into Monster Hunter at all, but I'm enjoying GE because it's a faster and flashier game.

Me too, I sorta knew the Vita version of GE2 wouldn't make it here because the American GE:Burst sales weren't that great, but a PS4 version means we may get another chance.

I second this. I'm fairly certain that it will be split cour given ufotables involvement. They generally go that route.

Kyousougiga has such good music! I can't wait to hear more from Shiina. I don't like video game adaptations much, but it's worth paying attention to for the killer soundtrack alone!

Yup. GE is set in an apocalip-, er, futuristic era. You got guns, you got laser, and...
VVVVV
