I just wanted to know how far into the story of this game goes up to, because i am farther than the Cartoon Network because they are too slow.
And if they want to make a game like this, they should at least have updates on the storyline so that they constantly keeping up to date on the regular storyline. Basically what i'm saying is, they could of waited for the Playstation 3 and get a better graphics version of Naruto: Uzemaki Chronicles, and also that could possibly have downloads to your hard drive to make the Multiplayer and also what i said before.
What they could of also have done was if it was online, they could constantly give out ninja missions for your player. This is just my opinion, I like anime and all, i just think they could of done better with the game. Who knows, maybe they will make another one for the advanced consoles, just hope it's not for the Wii.
Like for examples of anime video games, like Samurai Champloo. that was orginally for the Playstation 1, until they made a better version for the Playstation 2, which really had no point to it, because it was probably just the same storyline. I want to know what you guys think.
[EDIT: Fixed your spelling of Uzumaki. -TK]

The idea for it to be online is pretty cool. I think you should have no problem is you play the game because they actually edited parts of the game when it came here because the anime wasn't where it was when that game came out in Japan. edit: this game came out here in DEC 06 so your safe you play it.
Quote: | As to not spoil anything, BandaiNamco America removed additional characters and changed the storyline.
Tsunade was replaced with an empty chair on the mission select screen.
The Kisame boss battle present in the Japanese version was removed and replaced with Kabuto's boss fight from later in the Japanese version.[3]
The Itachi boss battle was removed.
The original game's storyline was changed to remove references to Itachi, Kisame, and Tsunade.
Spiraling Sphere has been renamed "Power Strike."(note: this may be due to the fact that the rasengan or spiraling sphere had not been featured in the manga or anime, possibly confusing some fans)
The battle with Shukaku Gaara was removed.
Shikamaru has not been promoted to Chunin.
Gaara is in his pre-Sasuke arc clothes. |

Well that's cool, thanks but there is still a couple of things they "could have" done. Even though the storyline for the japanese version of the game is farther than the english version. First of all, look at the title of the game, Naruto: Uzemaki Chronicles. Now this could mean the whole story or just part of the game. Now obviously you can't fit everything onto one disk, so as i said in my introduction, they should creates updates for the game on a hard drive. Or what they could of done with the is split it up into parts of a storyline. Like for example, .Hack//Roots. they split this story into four parts normally.
So saying that, it would really suck to go buy all the parts of the game, so the best choice is to download patches and updates for the game. Which in this case, this connects with the PS3.

Well there is a sequal to the game that is out in Japan now and will be out here in Dec 07. So I'm assuming that the second one will take place after the first one, I haven't played the first one so I don't really know the story. The idea of downloading new data to the game is cool but would probably cost too much money and anime games are kind of like games of movies here. Take games like Spiderman, X-Men, and Fantastic 4. Those games are hyped when the movie comes out but after that you never hear of them again, they are only made to help the movie and add parts that were not showen in the movie like how the X-Men 3 game explained why Nightcrawler wasn't in the movie. So games like Uzumaki Chronicles are mostly made to help the show out and for the fans. They are not going to put all this work into to make a high quality game like the Final Fantasy series but I still think you could enjoy the game.

That is true, I just want an anime to turn out into MMORPG, which i know they have. But for some of the big anime out there. LIke .Hack//Roots. Me, personally they should have made it online. I think it is but you know. It would be cool to have Naruto as an MMORPG. You know, level up your character and get new jutsus to learn as you progress through the storyline. And then possibly convert your save to the next they come out with. Like kind of have the same system of .Hack but online. It would be kind of interesting if they made that. I mean look at the population of anime fans. if they made into a game, it would probably be a great game.

Actually, and I'm not so sure how reliable this is, probably just something that's getting started by a bunch of people at Bleach 7.com, but I heard that Bleach is supposed to become an MMORPG called Death Gods Online, but that's just what I heard anyways. I've actually been thinking about how there should be a Naruto MMORPG, considering how big the world is and how many people, places, and history is in it.
