Well, those are quite some noticeable names there. This should be interesting.

I really hope the Obata and Nisio one gets serialized.
Their last collab One-Shot, Urooboe Uroboros was interesting, and that was before Medaka Box, so Nisio's mindset for how he does manga has probably widened since then.
Obata is an amazing artist, who can be fun and expressive, like in Bakuman.. or deathly serious, like in DeathNote.
I really wanna see what they can do together in a full-length series. (Plus, I need a new Nisio manga to read.)

I'm still reading Bakuman. myself and totally agree. Biz will probably get this on their SJ run. Obata + NisiOisin? Hope I get the chance to read this work someday. I don't often recall being comfortable Nisio's writing in the past (Japanese puns make my head heart when there's quite a number of them) but these totally look worth a look.

Damn, Nisio-sensei sure is getting himself busy, what with Bakemonogatari ending (for the moment? who knows) and all.

The artist of two of my favorite manga series is teaming up with the writer of one of my favorite anime/light novel series? This is fantastic news! Too bad its just a one shot though...

Obata and Nisio doing a monthly series would be incredible! The art would be gorgeous. I don't even know what it's about and I hope it gets serialized. lol.

Everyone here seems to be "Hurray Obata + NisiO!" and no one cares about Ikeda...
(I don't read Ro+Va either, but the art seems great although Obata really steals the spotlight here)

To intentionally change the track of this conversation, I'm so freaking excited for the NisiOisiN x Ikeda manga. I love Ikeda's art style, which has matured greatly over the run of Rosario + Vampire, and NisiOisiN's writing style is gripping and engaging.
That's not to say that I'm not excited for the Obata one, but it's going to be great to see Ikeda's artwork in a new series.

I love rosario vampire series, second time reading both seasons. I hope this will be good, I really like Ikeda's art and storywriting.
