She will be the "lead" character in the Cinderella Girls anime, as she is presently the "lead" character in the CG anime trailer....... might want to update the article.
At least, she will represent Cute and Shiburin represents Cool. Mio will probably represent Passion? TBD...

Uzuki is too plain for a leader, Rin is just fine as a lead although I'd prefer Kaede over her for her age, looks, and personality, Mio is fine for the leader of the passion category.

Well, that's basically a required trait for leader, if you've experienced any of the other IM@S properties.

Yes but a little change wouldn't have hurt at all. Also, Haruka is less plain than Uzuki.

Quote: | The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Bandai Namco Games' The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls mobile game began streaming the first animated promotional video for the series on Monday. The promotional video features voice actress Yuka Ōtsubo as her character Kanako Mimura: |
I dont know that the one who wrote this article had checked any information or not, but the feature voice actress in this PV is "Ayaka Ohashi (大橋彩香)", the CV of "Uzuki Shimamura", not Yuka Otsubo"

True but so far Bandai Namco is the only one to really have runaway success with the concept between iDOLM@STER, Love Live and Aikatsu. Other stuff like Locodol, Wake Up Girls and AKB0048 hasn't done terribly well. Love Live and Aikatsu even have real life counterparts to go around and promote the show and do live performances that fill entire stadiums. Love Live's fanbase in particular is very intense with people bowing down to posters of the characters in public, making birthday shrines for the characters and decking themselves out in merchandise and buttons in Akihabara.

That's because of merchandising in which Bandai Namco are the masters of marketing the merc, Idolm@ster merchandise sells well (yet I can't find an official daki at all for some reason), Love Live has everything save for an arcade game and almost all merchandise sells beyond well, and Aikatsu has literally everything (save for dakimakura, well it's a kids show but that hasn't stopped Jewelpet from having them), the games eat yen like it's going out of style and the merchandise sells.

I'm not a fan of idol anime at all, but there's just something about IM@s.... I just like it. The characters are fun, it's full of heartwarming moments and the animation is really good.

She wasn't in the PV nor the Key visuals.
