Ooh some popular titles in there! I'll probably check out some of them especially the ones written by Araki.

So the million-dollar question for which I most likely already know the disappointing answer:

Is the app available outside of Japan?

Sucks if not. iShoujo and Kiss x Death look pretty interesting, even if the former seems to have gotten axed.

As of this announcement, it appears this is only Japanese. ^^;

With the summary for Kami-sama, Kisama o Kuroshitai, that sounds like it's too dark for a Shounen Jump title.

I've been able to access Hetalia just fine, so it looks like it isn't limited to just Japan. Totally happy that one is returning! I wonder how it works with the main series being published by Gentosha...Though it hasn't been serialized in Birz for a long while, so who even knows...?

And a Haikyuu! spin-off. Neat.

The quest of course becomes, what does this mean (if anything) for English WSJ.

So they're basically just putting their older, completed series that aren't running anymore online? That's cool.
I doubt that this means anything for the english version. Though I suppose having these series available digitally when they likely weren't before could make it easier for them to appear in the english jump, but I wouldn't expect to see these become free unless viz can find a way to cover the cost of translation.

So, no mention of the fact that Weekly Shōnen Jump itself (along with the seasonal Jump NEXT! special) is also getting a digital version through the app?

That seems like a pretty serious oversight.

EDIT: OK, now there's an update at the bottom. Was that there already, or put in place as I was typing?

The Viz Jump will be getting the Amano series. Pretty pumped for that.

Well it looks like your question has been answered. ._. Eidlive is going to be getting a Jump Start thing starting in the next issue. I have no idea where it is starting (there are 2 previous "seasons") Hopefully ANN's article clarifies. I wonder if they'll preview other Jump+ series or if they're adding this because of what happened to Hunter x Hunter. I hope the eidlive manga is here to stay since I really enjoy akira amano's artwork and it's apparently in color.
