Honestly I wanted to play the antagonist. It would have been fun in the setting of Psycho-Pass.
 Especially with an antagonist background like Makishima. I'd be able to go around in the game and pull some strings or strike some nerves.

Psychopass DVDs sold alright but is not a household name. And microsoft is poison in japan.

Releasing any game on Xbox One exclusively right now is exceptionally dumb given the console's widespread unpopularity across the world and the fact it has the lowest install base this gen by a wide margin compared to Wii U and PS4... but releasing a Japan only game on Xbox One is nothing less than commercial suicide.
I can't understand the logic here at all. |

I don't think you get the point. It's pure logic: XBox One currently has the lowest install base of all current gen. consoles in all territories, and historically the XBox brand has been horrendously unpopular in Japan. So, yeah, any and all 'fanboyism' aside, this game is pretty much doomed from the start given the strange choice of platform. |
