Wow! How's this for unexpected?
I am actually really looking forward to these. Own(ed) the Japanese versions of all the Digivices up till Frontier and the original Season 1 ones never featured any of the final evolutions.
Definitely pre-ordering these.

Very unexpected!
I've been hoping for this for years! I've always wanted a new and updated version of the first Digivice. Let's hope it has a color screen.
I wonder how much it will cost...

Premium Bandai stuff generally runs 4000 - 6000 yen. Also you have to be in Japan to order it, so you'll have to use a middle-man service or find 'em on eBay or other online stores heavily marked up afterwards
I'd say they're going to be 60 - 100 bucks depending when and where you get it.

This is pretty much guaranteed as even the one that came out for Xros Wars had a color screen.

I already own the US/JP V1s, so this is a steal. I'm already letting my deputy know now and getting the money together. I can't not get this.
I even managed to snag the majority of the merchandise from their 10th anniversary stuff a few years back.

If you look at the product page, it costs 9990 yen. Which is... a little much, I'd say.

Does this kind of new product remain in the japanese stores for an extended period, or only for a limited time?
I've always wondered that about the older versions too. Does anyone know if the older Digivice versions are still sold in Japanese stores, even if used?

Hey! A question I can answer
Older toys tend to shift out of larger shops fairly quickly, but dead stock isn't unheard of in smaller shops. We're talking individually owned, out in the boonies, been around forever and a day shops. Even then, finding a Digivice requires insane amounts of luck.
There are shops that specialize in used toys and collectibles, and it's occasionally possible to find Digivices there. They're popular, so they don't stick around long, and are usually priced accordingly.
