I hope NIS America is localizing it.

I hope that the first game gets localized as well. It's Pretty decent strategy rpg series that has been looked over for far to long.

Atlus released Aquapazza here, maybe they'll handle this one. Excited for this. Seeing as the original was a srpg as well as a visual novel, its kind of a shame it was never localized, but part 2 looks cool, so i definitely want to add this to my collection.

As long as we get a physical copy I am all for it. Though to be honest, this is one of those games I might snag on even if its digital only.
Also assume its either Atlus, NIS, or Aksys/Gust/Imagepooch.

Well, the original pc game got fan-translated. However the PS2 port was sort of a remake with new art and story changes, as well as removal of the 'adult' scenes. I too hope that version gets localised here as well so we can experience it. But truthfully, I don't hold much hope in that regard...
Now I wish this will have enough success here for Aquaplus to at least consider localizing Utawarerumono...

Why? They are one of the best developers and localizesers in general.

kimi to tomo ni.
Akenai yoru wa nai darou?
I love the opening song to the anime but I never saw it....didn't realize it was based on a game series though, so its like Sakura Wars in terms of a visual novel?

Well Shit i actually agree with you on something for a change. Atlus usa is a very good localization company next to x-seed and nisa for niche titles such as this. I've been buying games from them since they localized Tatics Ogre and Rhapsody a musical adventure for the ps1. What are they doing wrong per-say???

Oh i'm fully aware of tears to tiara fan patch for the pc along with Utawarerumono's. It took me quite some-time to locate copies of each online for the pc so I could play them using said fan translation patches.

Only criticism I can level against Atlus is they have started going Square Enix and a really starting to milk Persona, by releasing 4 games only one of which is Persona 5, while one of is a rhythm and dance game. They might still all be good though.
But as a publisher I don't see any problem.

Can't imagine it being NISA, they've got a ton of stuff lined up before the end of the year. My bets on Atlus, the only thing they're really working on is Persona Q that I know of.
