I haven't read the LN for this yet but eh, I'm kinda so-so on the designs and PV so far. I do hope it will be decent though.

This is looking rather good, wasn't sure what to expect but I like both PVs thus far. There being fan service is great news as well.

The characters look about as generic as you can get. Will pass on this one

There is something I'd like to point out: Couldn't help but think of PATLABOR from Shou's clothes.

I have no idea what to make of this show, but I kind of want to give it a try. My favorite thing about this show is the description on ANichart.net:
Anichart wrote: |
The "dream railway paradise entertainment" story is set in a parallel world where Japan did not privatize its national railways. Naohito Takayama is an ordinary high school boy who dreams of a comfortable future working for the top-rated Japanese National Railways. He is assigned as a trainee in the Railways Security Force full of odd characters such as Sakurai, a troublemaker who hates men. On top of that, an extremist group called "RJ" plots to privatize the Japanese National Railways. |
So, this takes place in an alternate universe where the rail system was not privatized, but an (presumably evil) extremist group is plotting to privatize the rail system... I wonder what the author really thinks about the national rail system in Japan?

Yes, a very lovely, bouncy keep-you-hooked plot indeed

I don't know anything about the LNs, but given that Japan is almost never that straightforward about good guys/bad guys I would have presumed the opposite; that the RJ, these privatization "terrorists" are not bad guys, or at least have some merit and perhaps manages to convince some of these students.

Well, it's certainly a better railfan's wet dream over the 2007 series Tetsuko no Tabi. Barely animated, quite ugly, but still high informative on unique bits of Japan's rail system; really made you just wanna hop on a train and take a nice day trip somewhere. Some gunpla reviewer on YouTube did a round-Japan rail trip (must have cost the guy thousands for all the tickets) in just a few days, and seeing where those trains can take you and how nice they are can turn anyone into a supporter of rail commuting. Japan's still 50 years ahead of us.

Oh, so many very cute 2D Onee-san! And the background sound effects are great! I'm looking forward to this.
