I know Japan bans guns, but that's not an excuse not to have scanners on-hand, especially considering the management should know that these idols get a lot of creepy stalkers. |

That's the point though -- in the US, no one would've been allowed near the stars without going through a metal detector, and the guy wouldn't have been able to get a fingernail clipper through security, let alone a saw or gun. |
