Gen 3 is my least favorite outside of Secret Bases. Hopefully they make those pretty awesome now that we have online and wifi. |

3rd Gen was probably one of my favorites, so I'm all over this one. Plus, I also hope they do some awesome stuff with the secret bases this time around, they were a lot of fun back in the day.

Finally, the remakes of Ruby and Sapphire are about to come into fruition. Can't wait for the exciting debut!

Well, i think what that means is the majority of the game will be displayed in 2D while parts will be displayed in 3D. This is the same as X & Y, field is displayed in 2D for the most part, while battles, cutscenes and some field scenes are displayed in 3D. |

As long as its like Emerald, with tons of content, ill be happy. i also wonder if these two will be worth as much as Heart Gold and Soul Silver are due to limited printing. Will we get some cool gadget like the Pokewalker with it? I missed out on HGSS and only got it recently used for $45 so i will make sure to preorder this one stat.
This isnt much of a surprise to me though. Gamefreak has had this pattern of Pokemon game-making for a while now. It surprises me that so many people are acting like this is so unexpected....but still i understand somewhat and share the hype with everyone else. The only thing that bugs me a little is the name....Alpha Sapphire? Omega Ruby? I dont know sounds awkward and a bit silly to me

a someone whos never played a 3rd gen game this'll be interesting. looking forward to seeing what.this brings to the table as well as Ruby and Saphirre making a return in the special/adventures manga.

3rd Gen was probably my least favorite (maybe I was just bitter about being unable to port my G/S Pokémon in), but I'll probably still be getting these, since I've played the crap out of Y.
