The url tags shouldn't be there. If you use url tags on their own you will be linked to the image. If you use img tags on their own the image will appear in the thread. Both require a correctly formatted statement. The img tags can't do anything with the url tags there.

If that particular URL won't work for BB code, you can always try downloading the picture, uploading it to an image hosting site, then using that URL, instead.
I do this a lot, myself, to avoid possible anti-hotlinking countermeasures from whatever sites that might employ it. |
