I'm always glad to see more shoujo manga get adaptations. But man do I just hate student/teacher relationships so much.

As a teacher myself I find it highly disturbing. I usually give the stuff a wide berth.

It was not always that way here, frowned on yes, got the tongues of the gossips wagging yes, angry parents ( possibly with a shotgun ) yes, but it was not forbidden and not illegal.

Not everyone does things the way the US does now, nor should they.
