That's awesome, glad mecha is continuing to make a comeback, even if some of the stuff is just kind of bad parody fodder or genre mixing stuff like that Sound Robot show. I mainly appreciate this franchise because of the intros like the one where Fuhrer King Bradley is shouting at you before the music drops about how awesome Braigar is.

The days of magical themed mecha are over and I'm glad, both Valvrave and Buddy Complex were terrible excuses for mecha. Who on earth were they appealing to with those disasters?
Bring on the true mecha series. |

I have been following every spec of news and this.. takes the cake.
I don't know just how much more surprised i can get guys.. If anything else happens like a Full Metal Panic, Muv-Luv Alternative, Mission Outer Space Srungle, Megazone 23 or Tekkaman Blade announcement i'm gonna die from heart failure. The future holds unlimited possibilities, there's no telling what could be next.. Last edited by StormVanguard on Tue Apr 08, 2014 7:32 pm; edited 1 time in total |

I wonder what is it that somehow tells you this new show isn't going to be "magical" in at least one major sense, considering the J9 series was all about Super Robots and had many goofy, ridiculous aspects. In other words, there will likely be plenty of "magic" as opposed to realism. I hope this newly announced production will turn out to be good, but without a lot more information it just comes across as another attempt at being retro. Which is fine by me, for whatever it's worth. Needless to say, I will still give it a chance when the time comes. |
