I know, I'm a big critic of Japan's overpricing of all items, it just ridiculous in my opinion. I can't imagine the nightmare US companies has to go through to license anime when licensors in Japan sometime jacked up the price for licensing the anime (and other prices include OST, and extra features).

IIRC only the Shinji one is Ladies Only. The other are available in men's sizes as well.

Really? Is a $145 pair expensive? I've paid $175 for a pair of shoes before. Plus, I could actually wear those to work.
Oh Bamboo, why do you always have to point things out so that I buy them!?

Sadly, Japan tend to be overpricey that include anime, because of the anime DVDs being expensive this is where "reverse importation" come into play, because our anime DVDs in the US is much cheaper then what is sold in Japan hence why Japan is paranoid, although to be honest, Japan hasn't release data proving that reverse import hurt the market.

I was wondering the same, I on ocasion pay those prices for shoes, but now that I think it, the shoes were either leather, good sturdy shoes, Melissas that seem to be very durabe besides being pretty, or doc martens which I have to import -.-
On loafers like that I am utterly and completely lost if they are worth it. From what I seen shoes made in limited quantitys with designs like that tend to sell high, so I guess it's more of a personal choice.
