I'll stick with "Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters." That show is less about selling trading cards and more about plot.

Is Shota another one of Shobu's previously unknown younger brothers? Are they dropping the cel shaded anime look for more traditional means?

Incidentally, Kaijudo got canceled after two seasons.

That decree means little when it's clear you haven't actually seen Duel Masters

Given the seiyuu, that's a safe bet it's another Kirifuda sibling.
Can't say yet. The promo image for V3 didn't look cel-shaded and it was. Art style looks a bit different though. I'm not sure if that's supposed to be Purin next to Yohdel or not or if she's gone. Rei is also sadly absent from the promo image which sucks since she got a lot of push in V3 and rose to main character status. But the title suggests this isn't a Victory continuation

actually we have and to be frank even though its a US cartoon, its a hell of a lot more entertaining than that yugioh knockoff.
well we definitely know that its obiviously gonna get a US license and that the god awful kids company Nelvana Ent will get the license.
One thing is certain , i will be avoiding this series like a plauge on saturday. at least Pokemon XY and Yugioh Zexal are more interesting that this crap as well as Digimon War Xros (Digimon Fusion) & Beyraiderz.

Nah, Hasbro owns all things Duel Masters outside of Japan and they have zero interest in bringing any of the anime and their related products stateside.
Also, LEAVE NELVANA ALONE.

No, "Shota" is actually Katta (Katsuta) from Duel Masters Victory. The kanji for his name is pronouced either katsu or sho.
