This isn't the first pokemon monopoly they released at least two different ones. One from the original games and one from gold and silver era.

I think this would have been better and more appealing if this version included every pokemon currently known, through generation 6. This way players could select their favorite pokemon pewter piece, rather than be limited by some of the more popular generation 1 (or the other version generation 2) pokemon.

A long time ago, a Japanese pal, who sent me stuff like the Evangelion movie Red Cross book, once requested a Monopoly board game (this was before ya could just order it there). The postage cost more than the board game.

That is true there has been other pokemon monopolys. I didn't know there was a second one but I do have the first one still. Pretty cool.
