I was going to say that I am surprised by FFXII outselling Paper Mario (total sales) but then again the DS has such a large install base. I realize why Dragon Quest is finally moving away from the traditional platform to the portable market, the chance to be more profitable. Considering it cost less and your reaching a larger gaming audience, it's a win win for Square-Enix.

I dunno if that was a fair comment regarding the One Piece game...wasn't there a pretty limited initial shipment, which was mostly sold through?

Ya wonder? I am fairly certain that it's going to be a slam dunk that it's going to come to US. If Dragon Quest can make it to the US then certainly FFXII for DS will.
I hadn't heard that about one piece, but I don't know if it would of make a different anyway. Also did ya notice that One piece was also the most expensive game on that list. but then again it's also the only third party game on the wii, that's on the list. |

I enjoy Wii Play, too. I haven't been playing it since 2 months ago so I guess I should do it right now. Like I said in that other Japanese Game Ranking thread, I am an expert in creating Miis and I am happy to teach anyone who PMs me how to create a Mii they might want to create. Here are some more Miis I've done:
Wario (from Mario) Stormtrooper (from Star Wars) Regan (from The Exorcist and that maze flash that scares people) Kadabra (from Pokemon) Lil' John Homer (from The Simpsons) Cobra (from G.I. Joe) Bugman (made-up by me) Marth (from Fire Emblem) ...I'll list later Also, Super Paper Mario is fun, too. I had so much excitment with it. I am glad that Wii finally got a game that isn't a tech demo, but the problem with Paper Mario is that it wasn't really a Wii game. It was a gamecube game that was converted into a Wii game. As for Wii Play it's a decent game for $10, I can't complain seeing as how the Tank game alone would easily last you a few hours I am hoping that soon there will be an actual Wii game, (that doesn't suck Red Steel) here's hoping that the gundam game is good. But more then likely were waiting for Mario, or Super Smash Bros. Brawl. |
