Any chance of this being shown with subs?

It's also showing at AMC 16 in Lynnwood, WA. I know, since I have tickets to go this weekend Smile Unfortunately, they're only showing subtitled showings for two screenings a day, first show of the morning, last show of the night. Not really accommodating for those not interested in the dub :/

I think it depends on the theater; Consolidated Theaters in Hawaii is running mostly subbed screenings for the first week it'll be here (source).

Not sure why anyone would want to see the sub over the dub. Disney always does a great job, and the dubs for Ghibli films have always been better than the subs.

This movie also features Italian and German characters. It wouldn't make any sense to hear them speaking Japanese.

John Krasinski (Jim Halpert from the office) was awesome.

That's why. You can't appreciate the various cultural nuances of the characters in all English. They speak in different languages besides Japanese in the original dub track.
