I'll definitely be there as well. If I remember, I'll ask my friend to bring her camera for pictures. If it turns out that a lot of people in the LA area are going as well, we should organize a meeting.

So what's the big deal? The Store Anime Jungle doesn't even currently have the first disc available in their online store.....so it's a get together of fans who want to pay MSRP? Also did anyone else notice that on the Anime Jungle website it says there closed on Thuesdays.....where the heck is Thuesday?

I have to ask about Bandai/Kadokawa's "viral marketing" campaign:
WHAT THE HELL IS UP WITH HARUHI'S WINGCHICKS??!! The woman playing "Mikuru" sounded repetative: "What am I doing here," she cried. The woman paying "Yuki" just looked bad. I saw a better live-action adaption of "Yuki" doring the adult parody by TMA. And finally this issue that might not be important to you guys but I just felt that it was important for people to speak English. I don't know how much product Kadokawa's gonna sell; but the least the two Japanese ladies can do is try to fit in with the secondary target audience... Tch! I hope Busou Renkin gets licensed for R1 release soon.

I've had the special edition box preordered for a long time so I'm just going there for the poster, to get it signed, and to have fun. I don't do this kind of thing very often (though I *did* go to the Wii launch at Universal Citywalk last November - I was within the first thirty people, in fact) so for me it's an excuse to get out and see other fans of the show. |

Since it is on a Tuesday, I may be able to get the day off and go. But I already have it pre-ordered... And I can't think of any of my friends who'd like to go (they all hate Haruhi). Anybody want to meet up?

 Oh man...I would LOVE to go, but seeing I've already gotten the first limited edition DVD preordered and it's on a school night, I can't. I hope they put up a video about this on the ASOS brigade site.

I pre-ordered my box set as well, and even though it's quite a schlep out to Little Tokyo (and after work as well, booo) I still want to go, because any excuse to meet fellow anime fans and be geeky is a good enough reason for me to attend. *grins* And yes, there will be video. Bwahahaha.
