It'll be worth the wait, but I am glad to hear news about a Blu-ray release for both Mononoke & the Cat Returns.

Is Disney releasing these? I have the Japanese blu ray of Only Yesterday and the OCD part of me hates how it doesn't match my Disney Ghibli blu ray's.

Will definitely be adding the BD versions of these two movies to my collection when they're available in N.A. I remember seeing Princess Mononoke in the theatre during its initial run through movie houses after the English dub had been completed. Loved it then and still love it now.

I imported Mononoke Hime because I couldn't wait the 12+ months for a domestic release and It's worth every Yen/Penny. The video quality is absolutely amazing, sound is incredible and the extras, even though they have no subtitles, are wonderful.
I import alot of The Ghibli library because, A. I'm impatient and B. The extras are well worth the price.
