That is weird. Attack on Titan 12 goes on sale on Dec. 9, but it's already got sales in this ranking which doesn't even include Dec. 9.

Sakamoto desu ga?, the next big manga? Only 2 vols are out, but vol 1 almost reaches 1m.

Oh yeah when I was in Japan I saw displays for this all over book stores with a lot of people by the displays.

I am not surprised to hear it is popular.

edit: From the description thought the character sounds too perfect, wonder if there is a twist.

Some stores breaking release date, plus people finding those stores.

Remember the week when a One Piece volume sold like 400k before official release this year? Laughing
This week, Feb 25-March 3; One Piece vol 69 led with 404k despite having a release date of March 4. Also that same week, Assassination Classroom vol 3 made the list, selling 49k while also having a March 4 release date.

I really wish Ookiku Furikabutte would get an English release. I'm glad to see Claymore in the top 10.
