Oh wow, the 10 year old is very talented and very smart. Yeah if I was the judge, I too would chose her to take 1st prize.

If I were her parent, I'd be very very very proud of her. It's really impressive. And to think that she's a little girl having interest in GunPla, that's really rare.
(Please don't tell me that it's just her father using her name to win the competition)

Wow, very impressive! I love Gunpla but the most I do is panel line. I would never be able to air brush or paint.
Want to buy new Gunpla but don't have any room. >__< Man, if those MG Gundam W models came out like 10 years ago when I really wanted them......

So is the pick what Mei did or the 42 year old? A battle on an asteroid doesn't feel like it's "Hito no Kokoro no Hikari".

If you look closely, the figures don't appear to be battling one another. One is helping the other up and another is pushing the asteroid.

I agree with you on this. It looks like a version of Char's attack from the movie where they tried to stop asteroid crashing into the planet.
