Saito: "When I think back on my puberty, the things I feel were nothing were actually really important events and I thought they were the end of the world back then. That was depicted really well in the world of "Madoka." I think they (the teenagers) will think it's really hard, but being able to experience [those hardships] might be a blessing when they become adults.

Kajiura Yuki—

Kajiura: "It wasn't really the feeling of 'just scary' or 'just cool,' (she's talking about the type of songs she was composing for Madoka) but rather, 'I don't know how I'm supposed to capture this.'　I remember that kind of eerie fear here, whereas I hadn't had that in other works."
