I'm not much of one compared to others, but yeah, this is the same as when Hollywood actors say they like anime and they're into stuff like Evangelion, Dragon Ball, and, of course, Miyazaki films. Call me when someone comes out and says they're a fan of Haruhi, Genshiken, or some other show that won't have mainstream appeal.

Of course he is.
Much like Miyazaki, he likes little girls, they make him feel so good. When they're around they make him feel like he's the only guy in town. They don't care about his one way mirrors...
(And for the record, that's an Oingo Boingo joke and nothing more.)

I've hated Miyazaki for over 9 years now, due to that farce of a movie called Howl's Moving Castle. Pure garbage. Even in Japan, the film got negative criticism and got nominated for a Razzie equivalent. That's their Phantom Menace. Not well liked, but a huge seller.
Incredibles on the other hand was far better received, though it only made 1/4th of Howl's gross.

He wrote and directed Ponyo, which looked like something from the early 80s, due to the dated cel animation, the plot and overall feel is lame. He wrote Arrietty, which was also garbage. The visuals were better than Ponyo, due to the returning to digital animation effects, but his writing wasn't very good. He wrote On Poppy Hill, which is a bad movie, due to themes, which I won't gloss over. He ended with a crash and burn with The Wind Rises, which not only has atrocious voice acting, the worst in a Ghibli movie, which is saying a lot, the story is cheesy, forced and I've heard it a million times from this dude.

The kid has better taste than the dad. Then again, the dad wrote "Only A Lad", "Wild Sex In The Working Class", and the music to Burton's first two "Batman" movies, so it's a push.

I can't tell if you're soap boxing, or trolling, or a bit of both.

Totoro is nothing compared to Spirited Away. Mononoke is about even with Spirited Away, though the former has much better character development and visuals. Both have shitty VAing, like all of Miyazaki's films after Whisper of the Heart.

Nope, the TRUTH. Most hardcore Ghibli fans themselves consider Howl to be a blight on Miyazaki's record. Howl is the Cars of Ghibli, though even Cars has more to offer than that dreck,

It seems YamadaKun came back with a new account, guys. Let's see how long it takes before the mods realize it.
