For the first time in a long time, a fan of the series may be left breathlessly anticipating the next volume.

This is so true! I'm really really looking forward to seeing the rest of this manga series.

I really reccomend this series to every one, whether they have seen the anime or not!

Though I've only read through volume 8, which starts up the material from the ~Enishi~ sequel anime, it's nice to see there's something to look forward to. While going through the anime a couple of years ago, I had to wonder just how long they could keep their secret from everyone, so someone finding out is believable. Of course, since I already picked up everything through volume 15, it's a little late to actually make a decision to buy or not Embarassed

Don't worry Zalis you'll be very happily surprised. That little secret situation gets addressed too Wink I really wish they had extended Enishi and used some of this material not seen in the anime. It would have really been a nice offset to the otherwise light 2nd season. The drama is what really made this manga/anime work in the first place, and they left out so much in Enishi.

Ai Yori Aoshi despite not being the best series I've ever watched it still has my favourite couple in Kaoru and Aoi. Since I've just gotten into watching anime in a big way, this January; I am now interested in buying manga's. Would a fan of the anime be satisfied with investing in this whole series? I don't want to regret paying $100.

If you like the anime then you will almost certainly like the manga - especially if you like fan service, as the manga goes that extra step on showing nudity that the anime avoids.

Ya, I always loved the aniime (first anime I bought myself) and always wanted to pick up the manga, but because I'm not a purchaser (because I don't and have never had a job) I'm not sure if I should get this.

I'd never buy an anime or manga because it has fanservice, but as long as there is an interesting plot and characters I can tolerate excessive fanservice.

Time to check my local comic shop.
