I've been playing this game and it's freaking amazing! It was pretty hard to get into at the beginning though.

Yeah, I've heard this game has a RIDICULOUS steep learning curve, but once you get used to the mechanics it becomes incredibly engrossing. Man, this really is the game you need to invest a couple hours until you get a hang of it.

This game is awesome. I roll my eyes at the Wii U bashing when games like this are available for it.

I've actually barely played any character action games before but this has made me interested in checking out more. The DMC games, Bayonetta, Suda51's various games, etc. are being added on my to-get list after this.

Plural? What other games are there. Nothing by my count.

New Super Mario Bros U/Super Luigi U, ZombiU, Scribblenauts Unlimited/Unmasked, Pikmin 3, and soon we'll have Wind Waker HD, Sonic Lost World, Super Mario 3D World, and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze by the end of the year. We already know that 2014 will have Mario Kart, Smash Bros., Bayonetta 2, and the untitled Xenoblade sequel. And that's not even counting multi-platform titles.

There's plenty of games for a system that's not even a year old yet. Certainly far more interesting for me than anything Xbone has announced yet (PS4 does at least have Infamous Second Son, Knack, and The Order: 1886 plus a few good multi-platform titles).

I second this.

Also the learning curve won't really mess with me; if I could handle TWEWY's then I could take this one on. My main problem is that this game looks like it's The Incredibles: The Game. I'm just not really digging the design. If it is good though, then I'm sure I'll get over it.

A gee a meh looking HD port of a game I played years ago is Nintendo's big game for the Holiday, I'm so happy.

haha Sonic, don't make me laugh.

So just more of the same Nintendo games, yawn inducing. I'm sure thats goind to make people buy this dying system.

Quote:
Bayonetta 2,
Yep, too bad it's on the Wii U.

and the untitled Xenoblade sequel.
I sure hope it's an actual single player game like Xenoblade and not some 4 player MH game.

Quote:

Which will dry up after those PS3 and Xbox ports stop which then begs the question why buy a Wii U when I already have either the two consoles or a PC to play them. Or hell why even mess with the last gen ports? No one care's about multiplatform games on the Wii U and for good reason.

Quote:

Not really, outside of the usual Nintendo offerings and then few select things like 101, it's just multi platform games that people can get elsewhere and games people would only hold up because it's on the Wii U.

Nah not really. Titanfall looks great. Crimson Dragon and D4 will have that unqie niche stuff. Sounds like delusional Nintard nonsense here, especially since no one was even talking about other systems. Plus it will have the versions of multiplatform games you actually want and those what won't even come to the Wii U like FFXV, MGS5, Mirror's Edge 2, Battlefield 4, Kingdom Hearts 3, Dragon Age 3, The Evil Within, Destiny, Dying Light, and ect.

Wii U is just a crappy system and the sales reflect this.

I love how you automatically bash any Nintendo sequel but then praise all those third party sequels. Double standards, aren't those a thing of beauty?

Titanfall isn't Xbone exclusive, it's also coming to the PC. And nothing encouraging me to get a Xbone since I can just get a PS4 which will have actual good exclusives and all those multi-plat titles you just listed. Also, how am I a Nintard for being unimpressed by Xbone even though I clearly stated PS4 looks good so far? Way to insult me without even thinking about if it made sense.

If we lived in a world where the Wii U version of Rayman Legends wasn't the one that sold the most copies you could be right, but nope.

Also, Crimson Dragon? Yeah, Pat (of Two Best Friends Let's Play) played that at E3 and acted like it was one of the worst things he played at the convention. So I'm not getting my hopes up too much for that title.

Most likely because I've never cared about Nintendo games at all, so they are boring. The only Nintendo games I own for the Wii are Xenoblade, TLS, Sin and Punishment 2, Metriod Other M(because of Team Ninja) and Pandora's Tower. So no, more of the usual Nintendo ips means nothing to me. Those third party games? Well they actually look awesome and none of the one's I listed look as tired as most Nintendo console offerings.

And? So is Scribblenauts Unlimited and that didn't stop you from listing it. Probably because you have to grasp at straws when it comes to the Wii U library.

Well I'm not sure how anything on PS4 is better than the Xbone current list, but whatever. I also would'nt buy both now either. But I sure as hell would'nt advise anyone to buy a Wii U when it's future looks like crap, unless you really love Nintendo I guess.

Why even bring up the xbox? What does the xbox have to do with anything? You just felt the need to be a fanboy? I guess, but I just think you'd have to be a delusional Nintard to talk up the weak Wii U lineup including lol 3rd party support and then crap on the xbone out of nowhere.

Oh boy, 1 game first announced as a Wii U exclusive game sells better in the UK(that's all google listed so I doubt it counts elsewhere). Yep that disproves all the other weak multiplatfom sales and general 3rd party apathy towards this system. I'm not sure what world you live in, but one small game dosen't mean anything.

Yes two hacks that run a youtube comedy game channel are who we should listen to. I think I'll take the spiritual successor to Panzer Dragon just fine. None of the other systems have had anything like Orta or a good rail shooter in a long time.

-so then Wii U would never appeal to you anyway, or any Nintendo console. So why whine about something you shouldn't care about to begin with?

-wow, I make one slip-up and you act like my entire argument is invalid. Because you know, that makes sense. Rolling Eyes

-that's nice.

-yes, it's so random to bring up the Wii U's competition. It's like someone bringing up Marvel if someone was discussing if DC is good or not, how "random"!

-you can diminish it all you want, but it still disproved your generalizing claim of "No one care's about multiplatform games on the Wii U and for good reason".

-these so-called "hacks" have shown themselves to be consistently more reliable than most reviewers out there, pointing how insanely flawed Heavy Rain is (despite most reviewers acting like it was excellent) and how awful Silent Hill Homecoming and Downpour are (which both got average/good reviews for some absurd reason). They're far more knowledgeable about the entire game industry than most people (they even know have a weekly 2-hour podcast discussing everything in the industry) and I value their opinion. Just because Panzer's Dragon is from a genre that has been underused doesn't make it automatically good.

I don't have to like Sony or MS games to enjoy their platforms. Though since they don't have a "house style" and some variety in their ips and genres there's bound to be a Sony or MS game I own.

And why whine? Because I like Xenoblade and have bought every Platinum game up until now and both are shackled to a system that seems terrible. And the Wii U seems to be the worse system yet. At least the Wii started off with some support due to be extremely popular, only later did low software sales send developers like Grasshopper away. Even then the Wii has games like TLS, Fatal Frame, and NMHs. Not saying the Wii U won't get them, but it's a pretty terrible outlook right now.

I never said it was invalid. I said it strikes me as desperate.

I never talk about how much I dislike current Uncanny X-force and then all of sudden talk about how it's not Batwoman.

You brought up the xbone to compare it to the Wii U, fine I get it. It just seemed unnecessary because who care's about their library when we talk about the Wii U? It's not even out yet.

Um.. no it didn't. In every field, you need more then one very special instance(and this is since this was a Wii U exclusive at one point and hell it's just the UK) to disprove anything. Do we really need to get out the sales of every multiplatofrm Wii U game? Hell it's not even like it's software in general has done that great.

The entire point of generalizations is that a few things don't fit it, much less 1 thing.

Except for the fact that Panzer Dragoon is the best in that genre and now Crimson Dragon basically just plays like Orta. If you like this genre, then there's a good chance CD is going to be good and I'm not going to listen to people who probably have little experience or don't care about games like it.

-how is it a terrible outlook? Xenoblade didn't come out until way late in the Wii cycle while "X" will be out next year. Platinum Games is supporting the Wii U early on. And Fatal Frame doesn't count for me since it wasn't localized. But yeah, you're comparing the Wii's entire library to the Wii U's FIRST YEAR. That's not exactly fair.

-you still jumped to conclusions about why I listed Scribblenauts.

-then next time don't make such an absolute claim where there are instances that prove that absolute wrong. Rayman Legends is a valid example but you were all, "it's a small game, whatever". Never mind that "small game" has been getting stellar reviews from everyone.....

-sorry, I mistyped my earlier post, I meant to say, "Just because Crimson Dragon is from a genre that has been underused doesn't make it automatically good." Also, little experience? Matt, Pat, and Woolie are freakin' geniuses when it comes to the game industry and have played a MOUNTAINLOAD of games. Just because you don't like them apparently doesn't mean you can claim they have little experience when anyone who actually watches all their stuff knows that's definitely not the case. Also, Pat loved Panzer's, so he definitely likes the genre, he just feels that Crimson is a weak successor (it being tied with Kinect, which their channel has shown how flawed that system is, doesn't exactly help).

The Wii also wasn't bombing and already having 3rd parties abandoning it. If that dosen't sound like a terrible outlook then I don't know. Games like X and Bayonetta 2 are going to do nothing.

Umm, except I have'nt been proven wrong. One game doing good in one country says nothing about the systems 3rd party woes and software sales.

But it is'nt tied to Kinect anymore.....

Either way, I don't really care what some youtube people think.

The Wii U isn't bash-worthy. It IS, however, worthy of skipping over if nothing about it appeals to you. And that's not necessarily the fault of the system itself as much as it is the differences your preferences and the focus of the system/creators of the system/fans of the system/etc..

I find the Wii U's current and soon-upcoming lineup far more attractive than either the PS4 or XBox One's launch-and-beyond lineup right now, though I know I'll be looking for a PS4 a little later, when FFXV, Kingdom Hearts III, and MGSV come out. Thus, I'm getting a Wii U (eventually) and not planning on an XBox One at all. A PS4 is another eventual purchase, though probably not until after the Wii U.

So really, it's less about the system and more about the games on the system for me. If there are enough games I want on the system, I'll brave through the things I'm skeptical about or don't like in order to experience the stuff I've wanted to experience, and that's that. That's worked for me so far, at least. Unfortunately, I can't wrap my head around games like Wonderful 101, so I probably will be skipping out on it, even if it ends up being a great game.
