WHY?!WHY GIVE HIM NARUTARD"S VOICE? sorry I just really cant stand it. You give Green a bad ass MALE VA but you give RED a female VA and its NARUTO'S VA?!?! Come on....I may have accepted it if it was Megumi Han, as she voices Gon in Hunter X Hunter 2011 and he sounds bad ass but not Junko.... man.....damnit

I think the character designs of the actual anime are a lot better than this, but everything else here is a major improvement animation-wise. Personally, I'd like Pokemon to have a more stylized look
<<<<<<<<< Yes, I know it's fanart but it's still a cooler look than anything Pokemon has actually dished out till now, including manga. Also, I'm not crazy about Red being voiced by a girl. If they got Toshiyuki Toyonaga (young Flit Asuno from Gundam AGE) to play him, that would be perfect! BELIEVE IT! |

I personally disagree with that sort of style you have for your avatar (currently) but I do believe that character design wise they could have done a tad better or at least done something to make the characters look a bit more livelier. Regardless I'm still looking forward to the special, I don't really care if red has naruto's voice (I never really paid much attention to naruto to begin with) because this does seem to look like it's taking a lot from the games and that ought to be interesting to see. |

I don't think it's as much that it's Naruto's voice as much as it's Red being voiced by a girl that everyone seems to frown upon.
Red's image as the anti-Ash is lost when he's pulled down to be on the same boyish level. |

It's completely standard for young male protagonists to be voiced by women. This has been known for years and years, so I have no clue why this concern is popping up in this thread.

I agree that the voice sounds weird, since I've heard enough of Naruto to find it hard to disconnect their voices, but I've dealt with it in other series and made some great jokes out of things like this, so whatever. As long as she voices him well, it doesn't matter much to me. It's not like this is America and our cool boy characters have to sound manly to stay cool. =P |

People complain about voices in America too, such as when so-and-so is voiced by so-and-so, so this discourse is just par for the course. |
