well this explains why there hasn't been any info about it since spring. too bad really, i was kinda looking forward to it. the book is supposed to be really cool, and Range Murata was working on the designs.

I agree it's a shame, the story sounded good too. I'm not surprised though, since Murata himself seemed a little unsure of it in the interview he did for ANN

If this actually does pull through, it will be a new animation style.

Still, I can't imagine this could suck as bad as some f their upcoming projects sound like they will Wink

Yeah, this kind of sucks. I really didn't know much about the project besides that Murata was involved, and that is enough to get me interested.

Being a Murata fan this is very disappointing news. I'm sure there were good reasons behind it (amount of work put into not one, but at least 3 shows at once), but I've been keeping my eyes on it since I heard about it. The sketch art at the site was great and looked promising.
Now, it's all gone.

Wonder what Gonzo is going to do for their 15 anniversary.

This is really disappointing. I was looking forward to this title for a long time (being a Murata fan, and the fact that the show looked intriguing). It's also shocking when you consider the big I.G x GONZO junket for Chevalier and Mardock that took place over the summer (since both are authored by the same up-and-coming writer). I really do hope the project gets restarted or is at least realized in a different way.

I guess GONZO finally bit off more than they could actually chew for once.
