I like this and I hope it works out to be as effective and obtainable as I hope. I could certainly do with the saved shelf space.

Well it looks like new steps in technology are finally happening after being stagnant for awhile.

Sweet, now maybe in a decade or two, we won't need trees as much, if at all. Giving the enviroment a chance to regenerate.

They have been working on it for awhile, but if they've got it as thin as paper that is impressive!

about 2 years ago we had a discussion about it from an article in a chemistry course i was taking. BAck then it was possible to put it on a thin flexible plastic sheet. Its basically an even thinner lcd but they had problems with making it flexible but I guessed they found a solution for that.

As someone who has seen it, Bah. It will take years to get the cost under 1000 for a 15 inch screen. The colors have issues, and the frame rate is for signage. It maybe a good ebook, but never will it be video.

Yeah and 40 years ago people thought computer will still be running on tubes. Give it time, I'm sure Tablet PC will be thinner, cars can drive themselfs and fly, and robots like Bender will be on the nightly news. Razz
