Did new Naruto, Trinity Blood, Bleach, and Eureka 7 episodes all air this weekend? I had my DVR set to record them, and for some reason it didn't.

Trinity Blegh (seriously, how much worse can this filth get?), Bleach, and Eureka Seven were all new, yes. Naruto I can't speak for, though (it's also not Adult Swim, BTW).

Wait. Naruto wasn't on [adult swim]. It was only on Toonami. But yeah, a new Naruto episode was there.
Anyways, I never got a chance to watch TB or Bleach but I bet they had new episodes.

Just to confirm what everyone else has already said, they were all new.
I watched all four, so I can absolutely confirm that they were new. Snazy eps too.
Out of curiousity, why do some hate Trinity Blood with such a passion? (Not trying to single you out Nagisa. Your comment just reminded me that I've been wanting to ask.)
It's not the best series ever but it doesn't really seem to deserve the hatred either.

No offense but the reason I hate Trinity Blood is for the plain fact that its rather dull. Everything in this series (to me at least) shouts out dull. The music, the atmosphere of the series, the characters, the character designs and etc. To me theres just no life in this series.

I don't have a real strong opinion, but after watching the first two episodes I was disinterested in the series and haven't watched an episode since. Seems to use a lot of cliche scenarios I guess and there was nothing that drew me into the series.

I'll say this, FUNi's dub for Trinity Blood is the ONLY reason I'm watching. It's just really damn good inspite the fact the material is so cliched (which is probably easier for them to get into the characters). It's mindless entertainment though I did watch the first episode when it was first fansubbed, and I thought it was really lame.

I'd have to agree. I think the VA's have done a very good job with this one. I happen to like it. I know it's nothing new and maybe a bit cliche'd but I find it intertaining. To each their own. I will say it's by no means on par with Reqiuem frm the Darkness, now THAT was damn good I think. I missed seeing Bleach, I think the anime so far is lacking but I like the manga so I'm giving it a shot. I wish they'd put Speed Grapher on. That would be cool.

So the main reason is that it's cliched and not particularly thought provoking. I can see that, but it still seems like there is a special hatred for it.
I think Trinity Blood does have it's moments though. It's not winning any awards for writing, given that they seem unable to decide if they're trying to be a comedy or a drama or what, and the plot desperately needs more cohesion, but some of the characters are interesting. (I think they whole series would have benefited from being done with the Sword Dancer character Father Hugue as the lead rather than Abel Nightroad. The "I really just want to be a pascifist but I'm also a total badass when I need to be" characters just don't do it for me. The "I'm a protector who slaughters all the bad guys" type is my personal favorite.)
Also, while the art isn't ground breaking, the designs to have a certain flair. A sort of odd mix that seems almost shoujo in some characters.
I'm a vampire fanatic though so I'm biased toward anything with them in it.

The supporting reason that gives it a "special hatred" that is beyond mere indifference is most likely because it is on AS. Many are disappointed by Trinity Blood's mediocrity and would like to see another anime holds that spot instead. I know because I'm one of the haters myself, though I stopped ranting early on and merely skipped it for Bleach and Eureka 7 after a while.

It did hold the number one spot out of the anime played on [as] for a little while so at least it isn't hurting anime by detracting potential fans.

I know.
I believe I've said it in this forum before, but I'm just a frustrated Eureka 7 fan who thinks Trinity Blood got way too much hype compare to how E7 was essentially ignored, especially since, obviously in my opinion, the former is far superior. It came on almost out of nowhere and there isn't that much buzz about it even now.
In other words, take my word with a grain of salt. Whatever that figurative language is ever supposed to mean.
Not that I wasn't pleased when anime finally threw a coup d'etat back to dominate the list.

It's the most wretchedly silly thing I've ever seen. To me, it's what some horribly disturbed five-year old would scribble on a piece of paper as the epitome of what he thought was "cool." I mean, okay, we have some Super Saiyan vampire and his robot sidekick walking through some post-Doomsday future where vampires and Catholics fight each other with "lost technology," which to everyone's utterly lame surprise ends up being a lot of crap like cruise missiles. And those vampires and Catholics bear no similarity whatsoever to the existing myths and religious ceremony (nor do they create some dynamic new twist on those concepts), they're just the tired anime clichés of "big, shady good guy group" and "mysterious bad guy group" dolled up in some pathetically self-parodying monster costumes. The main hero is basically Vash all over again (with his "happy moron"/"dark past" split personality being just as clumsily written), and his whole "vampire that eats other vampires" thing is just...so...childish, silly, ridiculous, laughable, I can't even begin to describe the disgust that wells up in me when I see that (though, at the same time, it's also so unintentionally hilarious that I was on the ground welling up tears of sheer laughter the first couple times I saw it). And the story, so far, is just...boring. This silly little fake vampire yarn could've saved itself from its mindnumbingly silly premise with a solid story and some great writing, but it lacks any such thing. It's more tired anime cliché, executed with all the oomph and gusto of apathy incarnate. And outside of its character designs, the animation isn't even that good; it's standard, TV-grade animation, with some incredibly clumsy action sequences.
Is it really "that bad?" Yes, easily. Bland story, awkward characters, and a premise that just defies any concept of goofy, childish, and unintentionally hilarious. It's an abomination, and I stand by that.

Okay, sorted out what the technical problem was (don't turn the power off on the DVD player/recorder if you want the DVR to work, apparently) and managed to acquire Eureka 7 #26 through ummm. . . alternate means.
Glad I did. I can see why people have been saying that's an important episode, but I also think it's now my favorite from that series to date. There's just such a sense of joy when Eureka and Renton finally get back together that it was quite compelling, and it's very rare to see a mecha series in particular accomplish that.
For me, Trinity Blood and Bleach both fall into the "I'll watch it since it's on" category, but I don't go out of my way to follow either.

To those of you who hated Trinity Blood: Did you hate Hellsing?

What in god's name is wrong with you? The Church is incredibly symbolic of the Church back during the Crusades and the Inquisition, which is EXACTLY what the show is trying to do. I don't know what sort of Church you're looking for. The vampires aren't even the big focus here, it's the Rosenkruez(sp?) Orden. To address the "Vash" comparison, do you think Trigun came out before Kenshin did? Vash the Stampede is not the only person to have ever had a dark past and an incredibly bouncy present personality, and he definitely was not the first. That doesn't stop it from being a decent form of backstory, because really, there's only so much you can do. As for vampires eating/going after other vampires, how about Hellsing, Blade, Vampire: The Masquerade, and possibly Lunar Legend Tsukihime? Most stories with vampires show that vampires are often loners and don't really get along with other vampires, even with their own races. Abel Nightroad isn't even really a vampire! He's full of nanomachine technology, and basically, he draws his power from vampire blood, making him a "vampire" in his own respect. I don't see how that could even be considered silly or childish. Bland characters? The Empress ALONE was amazingly animated and badass. They don't need to be incredibly deep to be good. I would consider Major Kusanagi from GITS:SAC to be a great character, and many would agree, and she's not that deep. She's got a job, she does it. Period. The story of Trinity Blood is nothing incredibly special, but what on earth are you expecting? Lord of the Rings?
Your entire post seems very ill-informed. Well-written, but ill-informed. Trinity Blood is by no means an award-winning piece of golden literature and animation, but it is FAR from an abomination. I don't know what you were expecting out of this show, but you either completely missed what it offered or are so full of crap that you can't see straight. Watch the entire series and then come back with what is wrong with it. Until then, shut up.
