Okay I am a yaoi fan.
But I get occasionally pissed at some pairings they do to characters like Roy and Ed elric in yoai. I cant stand the thought. But its not just yoai pairings but Straight couples like Nana andspoiler[takumi] in Nana even though its real. My latest is Ohno and Saki of genshiken some wrote. no way for me! Anyone have a pairing they hate real or fake. |

This is from Marmalade Boy, I never have liked the idea of Meiko Akizuki (student) and Shinichi Namura (teacher). Recent student/teacher scandals aside. I always felt that Meiko would have been better off with Satoshi Miwa. Closer in age and Miwa would have help Meiko not be as "shy" as she sometimes come across as being.
Another would be Gravitation's Eiri and Shuichi. Shuichi is just WAAAY too bouncy for Eiri. Yes, Eiri (that grouchy, cynical SOB) needs someone who is outgoing but not bouncing off the ceiling outgoing. This was sort of difficult to do. I actually can come up with parings that should have occured but didn't due to various reasons. |

Can I get an "amen"? My friends and I always hated Namura with a passion. Actually, I think you'd be hard pressed to find a fan of Marmalade Boy who doesn't root for Meiko and Miwa. And most yaoi pairings don't sit well with me in my book, except for when the characters are already really close- for instance, I thought that Akira and Hikaru from Hikaru no Go were super gay from day one.  Not that I even follow yaoi, I just have some friends who chat about it. I actually can't think of anything else right now, but I might later.
(By the way Viga, you've been rocking some good topics lately.. I love the old school fan thread... :p ) |

Shipping unrealistic couples that would never-in-a-million-years happen in real life is part of the fun of writing and reading fanfiction. I mean, just think about it; what would be a more exciting read: a porno-fic derived from a hentai anime with characters that have already had sex in the source material, or a Sailor Moon/Cromartie High cross-over porno fic with the Sailor Scouts having an orgy with the Pootan characters? 
I don't read it all that often, but I can stomach just about any kind of creepy fanfiction; from slash derived from children's shows to characters that have green/purple/what-have-you rainbow-colored skin. The only thing that really makes me toss my cookies is Pokemon slash. I was using a few Ed Edd and Eddy slash images avatars a while ago as a joke, but I didn't find out until just now that the show had such a... erm, devoted following until just today. Apparently, Ed and Edd are a really popular couple. EDIT: I just discovered Bible slash. I think I'm going to be sick.  (Fixed broken link.)

One word: SasuSaku. I swear, it's everywhere, and I can't stand it. I dislike Sasuke (Naruto) and I hate Sakura with a passion. It doesn't work at all, in my opinion. @__@
I also disagreed slightly with Shuichi and Yuki being together, but only because Shuichi was so giving and lovable and Yuki was a cold-hearted maggot who kicked Shuichi out of his house at points in the series for what seemed like no good reason. I'm also not a fan of Tohru (Fruits Basket) being with any of the Sohma family members, especially the most popular; Kyou. I'm content with the two being friends, but the thought of anything else just grosses me out. [/b] |

Well just because you dont likeem doesnt mean that they dont go together well. and I HATE Sasuke ans Sakura, although Sasuke's way of fighting is cool and Sakura is finally getting usefull. other than just not likeing a couple together i dont really have any other reasons for them not to be, so im not gonna throw any out. |

I don't think they go together well either. Even if I did like them as individuals, I see nothing to suggest anything more than the irritation Sasuke has towards Sakura. The two randomly pairing up would be a little out of it, don't you think?

Call me hypocritical, but I'm always uncomfortable when I see those doujinshi/random anime pics that depict characters I like in sexual poses that they never happened to be in.
It feels...exploitative. No matter how many Asuka/Eureka/Haruhi porns are out there I still cringe every time I see one. I guess I'm just Joe Hypocritical who doesn't like the idea that his porn object has an identity he knows; and who also doesn't like the idea that his favorite character(s) with an identity be "degraded" to the object of porn-ification. Any such pairings are quite beyond my sensitivity. For example, I dislike the Haruhi-Mikuru pairing that seems so popular these days. It's even worse when the characters are just put into some form of rape by a faceless, bluff, random "male" being, or beings. |

I'm pretty much the exact opposite of you Samurai. Porn is all well and good but I find it better when there is character established. Thats probably why hentai appeals to me since anything can be crossed over. You don't see a t.v host that does porno on the side. And if you're an actor that makes a million dollars for a ten line part then chances are you won't get them into a porn movie for less than that.
Character is more important to me than story so I like when someone takes a character I like and throws them into whatever situation. I do agree with the whole "not liking missing faced male" thing. It kind of ruins the scene for me. When they take characters from the show then it kinda adds a sort of reality to the situation. When you get some faceless, random, evil rapist then it draws it into a more surreal scene where the focal character is degraded to the point where it could be any generic character, thus nullifying the point of having them in hte first place. |

This is going to sound like some sort of cop-out weak answer, but it depends entirely on the character for me. Characters like those from Haruhi, I just don't really find that attractive in hentai of any sort, it just feels wierd. Haruhi hentai bothers me, while Sakura hentai doesn't; Winry hentai bothers me, while Cagalli hentai doesn't. To be honest, I don't see any reoccuring themes between the two categories, some characters I really like, while others I don't care for. I basically have the same deal with pairings. SasuSaku makes a hell of a lot more sense to me than NaruSaku; one bothers me, the other doesn't, even though it's essentially the same thing in a lot of ways. One category I find kind of disgusting and tasteless, the other... I don't think I need to finish that sentence.

This forum was about to go x-rated I think I personally don't have any problems with any parings. I find them quite amusing. The more reatrded the pair the more fun I have. I laugh at the stuff I see. To me there's no sense in being worked up or offended over it. I just think of them all as nice little fun parodies in an alternate universe. I have to say though one of my most odd couples I ever saw in any form of hentai was one that had Goh, from Godannar, and Armstrong from Full Metal. It was homeade and set in an 80's background, and was just hilarious. I shed a tear or two from laughter.
I forgot to add one quote from it, well not a full quote seeing as how this is a child friendly site lol, I'll paraphrase; You know Goh, there are many skills that have been passed down through the Armstrong line for generations

Well, coming back to the topic...
I think that Sanae and Tsubasa from Captain Tsubasa are a nice pair, but he doesn't deserve her... Damn soccer-obsessed dude realized Sanae was a GIRL when he was about to leave for Brazil... ¬¬. She was always there for him, and he was justthinking about winning the National Tournament
