I just saw episode 25 of Air Gear and was wondering if they are coming out with season two from there or theres a 26 then the next season. They BETTER not end the entire series there. I will be so fuckin pissed.

They might have something in the works but they haven't announced it as of yet. I also hope it continues a bit more, like an OAV, but there isn't a 26th episode.

I believe, much to my annoyance, that the Air Gear anime did indeed end at episode 25. "End" is the wrong word though. Really, it just stopped.
This made me quite aggravated as well, because it had become one of my favorite shows of the season. I dunno why: it certainly has few technical merits and was hardly 'high-brow', but I just loved it to pieces. I did a lot of research into the manga (which is up to volume 16 in Japan and extends far past where the anime ended), and the impression I get is that they basically followed the manga script pretty closely until they ran out of episodes and then just stopped. Rather than try to make a false ending, or compress the plot (which isn't finished yet, anyway) they just faithfully followed along until they were done with their allotted episodes and then stopped.
Unfortunatly, pretty much the exact same thing was done with Oh, Great!'s other series, Tenjou Tenge, so I was half-expecting it, especially when the plot showed no sign of wrapping up by episode 23. I was like "Uh oh, they're gonna pull a TenTen and just stop it." And sure enough, they did.
Basically, they're saying "Well, if you liked the show and want to know what happens next, go read the manga." The manga IS being published stateside, but so far only volume 1 is out, so...
Anyway. That' s the deal with Air Gear. I /hope/ they put out a second season, which always remains a possibility, but I have heard nothing about it and as far as I know, it's a remote one. Oh well.
