i just watched the 1st ep of comic party revolution on demand.
i dont know but it doesnt feel the same like when i watched the first series. plus the voices souded different and rather annoying especially suguru i think. or suburu. her voice is like a grainy nyc chick. or that chick i hated in summer camp as a kid. only taishi and that shy girl was tolerable. emi and panda were annoying as well in their voices. the dubbing was a bit off in the first min. the only thing i like was the story because i can relate to it. did they change the cast for comic party rev. maybe thats why in annoyed |

It's a completely different cast from the original Comic Party series, although I found Taishi,Yuu and Eimi tolerable and sounding rather close to the old cast. My big disappointment was the incredible dip in animation quality between episode 4 (the last of the OVA episodes) and episode 5 (where the TV animation started).

The reason why the cast is different is because ADV dubbed this one, while the first series was licensed by The Right Stuf and dubbed in NY.
Didn't you already state that you dislike this dub in another thread? We get your point. |

The anime itself is bad compared to the first season. While the first one was educating, the second one is pointless and not funny. I don't know why they made a second season...
