I actually come to ANN for the Forums and News, but whatever. I do hope that ANN adds the ability to watch trailers on their website

Knowing that they are kind of short staffed as far as the encyclopedia is concerned, I will wait for them to add more titles.

I just hope readers take a second to consider their personal information is worth exponentially more than free anime copies or magazines.

I come for recent news and the encyclopedia is fairly good, just frequently doesn't have some manga and novels I try to look for.
On a side note, was I completely blind while taking the survey or were there no Nintendo gaming systems except GBA? No love for the Gamecube or the DS. I think I can forgive missing the Gamecube, but c'mon the DS is awesome! Anyway, I like this site and hope it continues to thrive. Funny thing is that I always prefer Anime DVDs over Anime Magazines... but this time I really hope that if I do win, I get the subscription. I guess that's just how much I dislike Trinity Blood. |

I liked this survey. It showed me what I'm NOT doing anime wise actually. Of course, I'd still probably not do most of it, but nonetheless it did show me what I may be missing.
I don't think that there is anything wrong with ANN's site as it is now. I'm still finding out new things about it and I know that I'm not utilizing it to it's fullest potential. Great Survey! I just hit up the Polls link. I didn't know that there were any current ones but there are! It's interesting to see the various demographics listed. I'm not surprised to see that in the age group for most is 18-24 male or that the occupation for most is student. The number of people who've been into anime 11+ years sort of surprised me. Why, I don't know but it did. Good Polls too! |

I really couldn't think of much that needed to be improved on the site other than more manga reviews (the anime to manga ration seems to be about 10:1). And more help for those poor enclyopedia staff members who seem to be swamped.

If they had just waited another 10 months to have this survey I could have put High School as my highest level of education completed insted of elementary.

Strange that you would mention that since at my job (Demographic consultant/F&I assistant) I give away normally 75~100 dollars (gift cards/a Car from time to time) a week for this type of information. That said the survery is more geared toward what kind of fan you are and your viewing/purchasing habits. But at least there was a few question gear towards how to help ANN grow into a better site, and for that my personal information is worth it. That said I wish that the question of what do you visit ANN for was an opened ended/multiple choice question, because I frequently visit the site for (Majority) News and the forums. Other then that, I kind of want a podcast from this site specifically after hearing Zac on AWO. animenewsnetwork.com/bbs/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=145181#145181 You guys have no idea how many manga titles are out there: at the order of hundreds of thousands. Concentrating on anime-related manga would be the most (and probably the only) feasible way right now. |

You sir, are retarded. Everyone's personal information is already out there. All you need is time and patience. |

I enjoyed this survey. I just hope it prooves helpful to them. I will admit though, that what first motivated me was the prize. Now though, I don't really mind if I win or loose. I like this site. ANN provides a great source of information for me.
I would have liked to explain why I rated certain companys so high/low. Maybe they will have another survey, like this, down the road that would include that option. |
