It's kind of funny considering their recent work Chuunibyou makes fun of Kyoukai no Kanata's very essence. Hopefully the story is compelling to go with the action scenes.

Loving the music in the trailers, oh god does it sound perfect for something like this.

I really like the designs. Cute like most KyoAni's stuff, but they look a bit more mature than some of their other works.

I'm excited to see scarf boy in action, his design is my favorite so far.

I just love the mood and style of that PV. Safe to say I'm definitely interested in this new Kyoto Animation work for Fall.

Risa Taneda as Mirai Kuriyama, the heroine of the story of Kyōkai no Kanata. She is an underworlder who has the ability to manipulate blood.

So she's really a deadman (or dead-wo-man rather Wink).

Wait, what?

Blood Manipulation is much older than Deadman Wonderland. Speed Grapher, Flame of Recca, Samurai Deeper Kyo, etc. It's not all that rare of a thing in anime/manga.

I like the Buddy Holly glasses on the bloody sword girl. A different look to say the least.

Never said it was. I was just joking around with that comment.

;D This will definitely be interesting. I haven't seen any animes with Kenn as the male protagonist but from his previous works and from the preview I'm looking forward to this. Most especially because I didn't finish watching Deadman Wonderland and the character concept around Mirai Kuriyama sounds interesting.

It's like From the New World with Hyōka's art style! Very Happy

Also, dat music. Foreboding shit, looking forward to it.

Slice-of-life actually seems like it'll take a back seat in the next few months.

I seriously doubt Kyoani would do something as complex as spectacular as Shin Sekai Yori.

I wouldn't be quite sure on that just yet. I doubt Kyoani's ability to write a straight up sci fi or fantasy without mixing slice of life elements in.
