My point exactly. That should give fits to the controllers of Lupin the first's IP as well.

Anyway. Sean Connery is a fossil; a way cool fossil, but a fossil regardless. Far too old for any role in Lupin. Any major role, at least.

You know Lord Byronius, I was thinking along the same lines. All the actors who would've had the flair and wit to truly be Lupin are a bit beyond the character's age. Roger Moore, The SEAN, Sir Michael Caine (just see him in the original Italian Job with Benny Hill, it's stellar)...

We really don't even have much in the way of pale facsimilies. Pierce Brosnan isn't all that bad, but a little lacking in absurdity.
