See, this could all be avoided if either they ask permission first or "disguise" the names like they used to (e.g. Sony -> Somy, McDonalds -> Wcdonalds, etc).

Metallica is Latin for metal, but knowing copyright laws I wouldn't be surprised if you can copyright an actual word like that.

It depends on the country but generally yes. She is not a music band but a witch so it's OK.
