Maybe she'll get one eventually but Attack on Titan's pretty much the fujoshi-bait show of the season so expect the boys to dominate most of the stuff. |

Attack on Titan is fujoshi-bait?
Wow, this is news to me.
Anyway, interested in the Rivaille pillow.
I'd never let that thing go.

The majority of the doujinshi appear to be yaoi and it's shaping up to be the new Tiger and Bunny in that regard so expect a large chunk of the merchandise to be aimed at girls.

Yeah, it's no new phenonenon that some of these anime target the wide range of random. Gundam SEED, Gundam 00, T&B, Fate/Zero. Hell, even if they don't target women, the women can still latch on as they see fit to.

I really want that letter opener! Hopefully AmiAmi or other shops will have it for order.

That Eren one looks kind of weird, but it looks a whole lot better than the fan designed one that I saw online where he was bloody and in chains...

Have you actually seen Attack on Titan? It's completely devoid of any fanservice geared towards anyone.
Attack on Titan isn't like Makai Ouji, there's no BL hints or elements anywhere in it. Just because a lot of girls like it doesn't make it fujoshi-bait.

You could say exactly the same for Kurobas. Total shounen origin, zero BL intent, devoid of any "fanservice" (some would say have a bunch of bishounen on screen is fanservice though), yet all of the Kurobas events are geared towards fujoshi.
Nothing wrong with that, people enjoy things for different reasons and some girls enjoy Attack on Titan for its male characters in an erotic fashion. The publishers recognize that it would behoove them to satisfy that market

Do we really care if some women 'really' like the characters more than men. Most of the main characters are men, so it would make sense that there is more for women to like.
If there is to be any classification of the show, it would be that it is a sci-fi action show. It is not a harem show by any stretch of the imagination.
