Somewhere in the retail section or in an online store, most likely.

If you're looking for an R1 release, Yaiba doesn't have an R1 license, so those DVDs don't exist. CD Japan doesn't have them either, and I didn't see any Yaiba DVDs on eBay. Sorry.

hey guys, thanks for the feedback. I have tried ebay and had no luck. and i tried most of the anime online stores and still no luck. i've also tried the japanese amazon.com and they had one, but i couldn't understand it even tho majority of the page was translated. and at biliano, what did you mean by R1 release/license, i didn't quite understand what that meant (sorry for such a silly question)? thanks again everyone

correct me if im wrong
basicly r1 is region 1 and the united states is region 1, japan is region 2. if you buy a region2 dvd and try and play it in your dvd player(which is most likely region 1 as well ) the dvd will not work... so youd have to buy a region 2 dvd player to play a region 2 dvd. every movie with english should be region 1 or in some cases have no region or "region free" meaning it will play in any dvd player. even if im slighty wrong about the specific regions, i think you get the idea. |

Well, a language and a region don't exactly go hand in hand. Movies or Anime or anything with an English (or french, or german, or anything) track can be any region of DVD. Some countries, like the UK and Japan, share regions too. Generally, when something is refered to as licensed on here, it's generally assumed to mean "a US company has bought rights to *thing*, and have or will put it on DVD/TV at some point, if not already": |

In terms of DVD coding, the world is divided into 6 different regions. (See this article from Wikipedia.) Region 1 consists of the United States, Canada, and Bermuda. Region 2 is Japan and most of Europe, Region 4 is Australia, etc. This coding is used to allow the motion picture studios (including anime studios) to control the various aspects of a release (including content, date and price) on a region-by-region basis. So by my saying "R1 Release/R1 License", I'm implying to a particular title being available for distribution and viewing in the United States and Canada. |
