Haven't read the manga, but I like Shinbo's directing and SHAFT are cool so guess I'll watch it.

I am over ecstatic about this announcement. When hearing the announcement that Nisekoi is getting an anime adaptation I always think of who could animate SHAFT was my 2nd choice MADHOUSE was my first but yesssssssssssssss

...Well. That's an interesting combo, and not one I would've ever expected. Can't blame Komi for jumping for joy.
This isn't Shinbo's usual fare, so I have to wonder how he's going to handle it. |

I had the opposite reaction; not a huge fan of the majority of Shinbo's work in recent years. I'll go into this anime with caution. |

Wow, I'm genuinely excited about this series now, when before I was just "meh" about the news. I like the manga quite a bit, but I didn't really care for the anime news since I was expecting the standard, bland, panel-for-panel adaptation most Jump anime are. Shinbo will definitely make this his own and creatively different enough to make it worth watching.

I was actually thinking about watching some harem anime,since the last time I saw one was about 1 year ago.Now that I know Shinbo is directing this I am definitely going to watch this.
