[UK] anime releases not licensed / released in N. America

It's sub only for UK, but I think the US version will be dubbed. >JM

Of particularly interest in the crew's latest, pre-Comic Con podcast, is confirmation that Blue Exorcist will be re-released in the UK on Blu-Ray, and complete with its English dub, to follow up on the show's previous subtitle-only release which was arranged before the existence of said English dub was confirmed.

This release will arrive under the name of the Blue Exorcist Definitive Collection, and will consist of the full series on Blu-Ray with English and Japanese audio spanning three 50GB discs, as well as the series on DVD in Japanese only with English subtitles. Further details of Manga Entertainment's exact plans, including release dates, will be revealed at the MCM London Comic Con.

Fight the power! Anime Limited licenses Gurren Lagann for DVD & Blu-Ray!

Glasgow, UK 24 June, 2013 – Anime Limited, the Glasgow-based anime licensing company and parent company of All the Anime, is excited to announce the release of the classic anime TV series Gurren Lagann on DVD and Blu-ray for the UK.

Gurren Lagann will be available in the autumn in one complete DVD collection. It will have two Blu-ray sets with release to be confirmed shortly when pre-orders go live.

This Collector s Edition contains the 3D Blu Ray version, the 2D Blu Ray version and the 2D DVD version, aswell as many extras and special packaging.

Hi, sorry to hear you feel this way. Manga UK only distributes Kaze and Viz Media’s DVD and Blu-ray releases. We do not author or manufacture the finished stock. We have made Kaze aware of the complaints we’ve received. I would advise that if you are unhappy with your purchase to return it within the return period set by the retailer you bought it from for a full refund or credit.

Well, that's more of an acknowledgement than a confirmation... Andrew Partridge of Anime Limited (who is also a consultant for Kaze) says
