This game had sooo much potential! If only they made a better battle system (somewhat like the batman games), and a world a bit more open to exploration...that would've made this game a must buy for me. Sigh, so much wasted potential

That's what it sounds like from a lot of people. I'll pick this up when it's a bit cheaper personally, but I also am hoping for a sequel. This game sounds like the sequel could have some really great potential with a bit of focus on the thought provoking cyberpunkian themes and the pulpy action bits. Merging the two together into a better game seems like something they could do instead of separating the two and making a confusing narrative.

So, I cleared the game earlier today and I can say that it is genuinely fun. Throughout the story game remains quite challenging with the combat system that required to actively utilize special abilities and different attributes of combo-chains. There were also few intersting riddles as well. The story is actually quite good. I don't understand why these "respected critics" from various game sites try so hard to call this game bad. Because it is probably better than the most average games nowadays.
