I forgot where I read this, but another series is in the works. I mean, after the ending of TSR, did you really think they would just stop?

Sorry to Rain on your Happy time but, Full Metal Panic: The Second Raid, Is the end. It covers the last two novels in the series. Further more I highly doubt that there will be more Full Metal Panic to come after The Second Raid.

I was just going to say how FMP is based on a series of novels so there's probably way more to expand on but..... really? No more FMP? 2nd Raid goes all the way to the end? Huh. I wouldn't have thought.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to link this site, as it is a fan translation of the FMP novels, but there are still two more novels after TSR story line finishes (which ends the novel "End of Day by Day"). The two novels after that are called "A Dancing Very Merry Christmas" and "Continuing On My Own."
But seriously, how could you have watched TSR and though it ended there? Not only did spoiler[the crazy guy (sorry, I completely forgot his name) not die, but Tessa's brother was just introduced!] There is no way a series could end there. |

And it's not like an anime has deviated or went farther then the manga before, look at FMA, and DBZ. They could keep the series going if they wanted. I also got the feeling that there would be more after TSR. |

There are at least two more novels of material that could be animated, but there have been no announcements of another series yet. Kyoto Animation is the company that does the FMP series and they are currently working on the Kanon remake. Perhaps they will announce a new FMP series when Kanon nears its end.

There's another novel before that too. There are three in total. |

There are multiple books after Owaru Day By Day. They could easily make one, perhaps even two more seasons based on existing material (and there's more in the works, to boot if I recall). |
