Wait till you see Japanese "punishment gameshows." Anime hyper

A 16-second ad tells me that advertising on TV is either exorbitantly expensive or 4gamer is a cheapskate.

I'm thinking it's a standard ad duration. Lots of Japanese TV ads I recall are really short. Maybe it depends on the show or time of day they are being aired, but the marketing tactic is highly efficient. A broadcaster can cram lots more ads in a smaller timeframe hence more companies giving them money. Which means that adspace on TV is actually relatively cheap in Japan because you wouldn't want a shortage of supporters, and in turn it benefits businesses because just about anyone can put up an ad on TV.

Anyway, I like the ad. Cute Sugita, I mean cute dog.
